Registration 

The International Symposium on Applied Microbiology and Molecular Biology in Oil Systems (ISMOS-8) is the largest event in microbiology and molecular biology in the oil and gas industry. This conference will explore the application of emerging microbial and molecular tools to resolve challenges faced by industry. ISMOS is a multidisciplinary conference, linking chemists, geologists, microbiologists and molecular microbiologists and includes high profile speakers from both industry and academia.

ISMOS-8 is as a Virtual Symposium from June 8-11, 2021. June 7th, the day before ISMOS-8 we host 3 targeted workshops – they are part of the registration fee.

Please pay with a credit card that can accommodate the transfer of international funds to Europe. Check with your bank well in advance. Do not use a debit card.

Reduced registration fee for students

Students wishing to attend ISMOS-8 that wish to apply for a reduced registration fee can send a short application to ismos.symposium@gmail.com including evidence of current status as a student and a short explanation (<100 words) of the reasons for requesting financial assistance. ISMOS-8 has limited funding available to support students who cannot access funding (e.g. from their university) to participate in ISMOS-8. For students enrolled in a Low Income Country (World Bank Atlas Method using GNI per Capita)– we have a limited number of free seats.
