The advancement of molecular techniques has revolutionized the understanding of microbial populations in oilfields. New technologies and cost reduction have made DNA Sequencing a common analytical test for field samples. Nanopore sequencing is an exciting technology that allows fast identification of microbial communities.
Event Agenda
This 1.5-hour workshop will be hosted by academia and industry professionals who have experience with the Nanopore Sequencing technology. Invited speakers will share their experiences with the technology and discuss pros and cons of the application of these techniques in laboratory and field environments.
ISMOS-9 will take place in Edinburgh, UK from June 27-30, 2023. Abstract Submission will open September 2022.
